Earl Shanks

Mr. Shanks serves as Chairman of the Cognyte Board since September 2023. Previously, he served as a director of Cognyte from February 2021 and of Verint for more than eight years prior to that.  Since March 2017, Mr. Shanks has served as a director of Gaming & Leisure Properties, Inc. From November 2015 until May 2017, Mr. Shanks served as the Chief Financial Officer of Essendant Inc. Previously, Mr. Shanks served as the Chief Financial Officer at Convergys Corporation, and held various financial leadership roles with NCR Corporation, ultimately serving as its Chief Financial Officer.
