The DBA Background should be of at least 5 years of experience with Linux environment, RDBMS databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
Main technologies that the DBA will be responsible for are Greenplum (based on Postgres), Sybase (SAP), ElasticSearch and SQL Server.
As DBA you’ll make an impact on:
- Being a crucial part of the development process – from the planning phase to the execution and implementation.
- Participate in POCs and research activities to continue and better our offering.
- Work closely with various teams across the organization – development, product, architecture, etc.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex system flows.
- Being involved in the company’s projects’ lifecycle – from pre-sell, planning and development to site integration and post-handover support.
Your tool box
- At least 5 - 8 years’ experience with Oracle databases / SQL Server.
- Proven experience working on Linux environment
- Great Shell scripts knowledge – a must.
- Good Python knowledge – Advantage
- Greenplum DBA – Strong Advantage.
- PostgreSQL DBA -Strong Advantage.
- Sybase DBA -Strong Advantage.
- Methodological, organized, Independent & Responsible
- Willing to travel abroad.
Soft skills
- Methodological, organized, Independent & Responsible
- Willing to travel abroad-3 to 4 time per year (max 2 weeks each trip) (mostly Europe)
- Ability to learn and adapt fast to new vendors and technologies
- Availability to provide support on an on-call basis.
